Assedium was born in the beginning of 2004 with the purpose of playing pure epic heavy metal inspired by Cirith Ungol, Omen, Manilla Road, Virgin Steele and old Manowar. The band took gradually form and started rocking some stages in Italy, having also the great opportunity to open for Brocas Helm in Ascoli in April 2005. In May, they recorded "Far From The Light" demo, still featuring Marco on vocals.
Signing with My Graveyeard Productions, they moved onto a new level working on new songs and creating the basis of their first album. Marco left the band in April 2006, and the band promptly replaced him with Fils (formerly with Fallen Fuckin' Angels and Deceptor), whose heroic approach to epic metal blesses the sound of the band and completes the mosaic of Assedium's sound.
With Luca, they record the "Rise Of The Warlords" album, play live in Greece at the Up The Hammers fest, landed support for Omen, Dark Quarterer and Sacred Steel, and they are writing new songs, with the future in their minds and the past in the hearts!
We invite all of you true metalheads out there to participate to our gigs, not just for the music, but for the pleasure of drinkin' a beer or more with guys that share with you the pure love for HM sound! We are not professional musicians, we are not trying to gain fortune or fame, we just want to celebrate the ideals of glory, valour and bravery along with the rebel-at-heart heavy metal spirit that cannot die, even in the darkest night!

E' una grandissima band,davvero molto bravi!Peccato che in Rise of the Warlords la produzione non sia ottima...Il basso(a mio avviso)non si sente a sufficienza...Nonostante ciò mi piace un sacco,un ottimo lavoro!Ora attendo il prossimo album che dovrebbe uscire a breve. . -

Ottimi, io ho Rise Of The Warlords, che è un po' acerbo ma si fa ascoltare volentieri.
Il manifesto di truezza che ho in firma l'ho scoppiazzato proprio da una scritta che c'è sul retro di questo disco degli Assedium..
